The gait analysis data from the German-engineered Zebris sensored treadmill allows for the observation of the human gait at different walking and running speeds with a high number of step repetitions. Depending on the application we can assess several gait cycles at constant or changing walking / running speeds.
Zebris instrumented treadmills are advanced systems for gait analysis, using embedded pressure sensors under the belt to capture real-time 3D foot pressure, force distribution, and step mechanics during walking or running, providing crucial data for diagnosing issues, creating custom orthotics, and designing rehabilitation plans in podiatry, sports medicine, and neurology. When combined with synchronised video cameras it means we can provide visual playback and slow-motion analysis. The treadmill can be used with or without shoes and for various activities, from static standing balance, slow speed rehabilitation to dynamic running.
